    Good job getting a call into FTL. I’m sure you will be getting a lot of visitors. I have been thinking of doing the Appalachian myself or at least 12 (then the other half) during my summer breaks. I live in Maine by the way – have fun with the 100 mile wilderness stretch.

    By the way I’m sure you have read A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson it’s perhaps one of my favorite books about travel.
